1. Video calling. This is, perhaps, the most exciting addition to the Apple iPhone 4G. With the addition of a front camera, video calling is now possible. You can use IM video conferencing, video calls allowed by your network, or Apple's proprietary video chat application, the iChat.
2. Sexier design. The iPhone 4G is said to be 25% lighter and thinner than previous models. Aesthetically, this would mean a sleeker, sexier design. Functionally, this would also mean that people with delicate hands - particularly females - will have an easier time handling the device.
3. Longer battery life. For this iPhone 4G review, the longer battery life promised by Apple is the clincher. After all, our enjoyment of this cellphone greatly depends on how long we can use it. With more than 30% battery life added to the unit, we can be guaranteed of a longer time in enjoying the new things that the iPhone 4G can offer.
4. Front cam applications. Of course, the front camera isn't only good for video calling. A slew of applications are now being developed to make good use of this new feature. Imagine, a game where you - with your exact likeness - would be the protagonist. Or a real time makeover app? The possibilities are endless.
5. Higher resolution. The unit boasts of a 960 x 540 resolution, a fantastic dimension for mobile devices. HD videos would look amazing on the iPhone 4G's new OLED screen. And with the improved HD audio playback promised by Apple, you can have a marvelous multimedia experience on the go!
6. Better camera. Improved to 5 megapixels, the newest version of the popular product just made an already impressive image capturing feature even more powerful and noteworthy! Also, the 4G model now has a flash!
7. Lower price, with no subscription plans. At $199 for 32GB and $299 for 64GB, this should put a stop to searches for answers to the question how to buy an iPhone without subscription. You're free to choose a telecommunications network you're comfortable with, and you won't have to worry about a restrictive lock-in period.
8. Better WiFi connectivity. The newest model will finally support 802.11n, which will make it at par with its current generation rivals, the Google Nexus One and HTC HD2.
9. Multitasking capabilities. Tired of having to close an app just to open up a new one? Well, the 4G model will finally, FINALLY allow you to multitask, i.e. to open up several applications simultaneously. This iPhone 4G review's reaction can be summarized in 3 words: it's about time!
10. The small things that pack a wallop. Unified mailbox. A folder for apps. New wallpaper and background options. True GPS built in. These are just some of the many more software additions to the model, making it the best iteration of the product to date.
So, what's the verdict of this Apple iPhone 4G review? Is Apple's newest product worth the purchase?

What is the Best iPhone Bluetooth Headset Out There?

There are thousands of applications that you can use on an Apple iPhone, and this is just one of the great benefits that you can get from getting this phone. The great thing aside from the amazing applications that are being developed for the phone is that it has literally changed the way that people live, no longer do you have to carry around a variety of different gadgets, you can literally do most things on this small pocket device. You can now be able to listen to your favourite songs any time you want, you can check your email any time and anywhere you are, and you can be in continuous contact with the world anywhere you are. The amazing this is that it has one of the best bluetooth technology that is out there. Bluetooth is a great way for you to be able to create an even more portable and wireless device, with very easy access to your contacts. But with so many bluetooth devices out there it can be really hard for you to know which is the best one to get for your iPhone.
Since the choice of a bluetooth device can run into the thousands of options it can be really difficult and even overwhelming at times when you want to decide which one to get, and to even know which one fits your needs the best. There are people out there that like to have bluetooth speakerphones but the majority of people out there prefer to have a bluetooth headset so that their conversations remain private in public. The great thing about a bluetooth headset is that a person can stay in constant contact with the phone even when not in use, and when you are making a call you can keep it in your pocket and talk without having to put the phone up to your ear. This is great for situations where holding a phone is hard to do such as when you are driving a car, or when you are working at the office and you have got to do several things at the same time. The most popular bluetooth headset out there for the iPhone is the Jawbone noise shield bluetooth headset made especially for the iPhone.
This headset is not only visually stunning, but it also provides an amazing crisp sound quality, that is not found in any other bluetooth headsets. Of course what most people are worried about is the visual impact a bluetooth headset has, and this one does not fail to please. It is absolutely amazing in terms of visual appeal. So the iPhone and the Jawbone go very well together and something that is definitely recommended if you are in the market for a new bluetooth headset

Want to get the most life out of your iPhone battery while still doing the battery draining tasks? Check this easy helper out.
Difficulty: Easy

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • iPhone
  • Computer
  • iPhone cable/dock
  1. 1
Turn the iPhone on if not already on.
  2. 2
Press the black sleep/wake button on the top of the phone, then slide the bar to unlock the phone.
  3. 3
Go to the Settings icon then to the Brightness tab. Slide the brightness slide bar a little less than halfway down. It should appear right under the letter 'h' in "Brightness". Then also turn the Auto-Brightness to 'ON'. Go back to settings.
  4. 4
Go to the 'General' tab, then check and see if the Bluetooth tab is on or off. If on and you are not currently using it with a Bluetooth device I recommend turning it off. It will save hours of battery life. Navigate back to the settings area.
  5. 5
Go to the 'Mail' tab in the settings area and under the 'Messages' Heading tap the 'Auto-Check' tab. You will have four different options. Depending on how much you rely on viewing you email and how often you need to view it is how you need to base this decision. If you need to view it often click the 15 min, less the 30. I recommend the manual option. It will save a lot of battery. Then go back to the 'Mail' area.
  6. 6
While still in the mail options area tap the 'Show' tab. You will have five options ranging from 25 messages to 200 recent messages. The fewer is the best option because it will take less time to load and save battery. Check the "25 Recent Messages" option. Navigate back to the 'Mail' then to Settings.
  7. 7
While still viewing your settings check to see if your Wi-Fi is 'On' or 'Off'. If not using your Wi-Fi currently tap the tab and turn it to the 'Off' position. Then you can navigate back to the settings area.
  8. 8
Press the home button. You are all done and ready to add at least an hour to your battery usage life. Possibly more. I can easily use my iPhone all day doing lots of tasks and calls.

Arkon iPhone 4 mount
Arkon is a manufacturer of car mounts for the iPhone. The company recently sent me a couple of mounting solutions for the iPhone 4, and I have been testing them out for the past month.
The package Arkon sent me contained the following items:
  1. SM012 – Mini Weighted Friction Dashboard Mount
  2. GN014-SBH – Travelmount Mini Swivel Windshield Suction Pedestal
  3. AP013 Circular Adhesive Dashboard Disk
  4. GN015-HPB-2 Mini Windshield Suction Pedestal
  5. SM050-2 Slim-Grip Holder

First Impressions

Arkon iPhone 4 mount contents
I have to say I was a bit overwhelmed when I first received the package due to the sheer number of parts. First there is the weighted dashboard mount — which if I may be honest is far from “mini” as the product name states. Then there is an adhesive hook to prevent the weighted mount from sliding off the dashboard. Then there is the pedestal that attaches to the mount. The pedestal is comprised of several parts which you have to assemble, including the plastic pedestal itself, the Slim-Grip holder, and four support legs that you have to slide into the holder before you can mount your iPhone.
Phew! That’s a lot of parts. As Apple customers, we want products that “just work,” as the old Mac slogan goes. I don’t want to have to read an instruction manual to figure out how to use this thing. I just want to take it out of the box and use it
